The Office Staff
The past few weeks have brought huge changes to Pristine Orthodontics in Plano, TX! The first change you’ll probably notice is that we have a whole new Plano, TX, orthodontics team. They’re great! I know you’ll love them. We’ve been in training mode, which has been stressful, but everyone’s finally settling in to their roles.
Belaun is the first new face you’ll see. She now runs the front desk. As the main point of contact for our patients, she’s the person who will take your calls and help you when you come into the office. She worked in dental sales before, and now she gets to use the products she formerly sold. Belaun will work directly with the patients on Fridays and Saturdays.
We’ve also hired a new chair side assistant. She’s tremendously talented! She has been in the field for twenty years, and, at this point, she can basically do everything that I can.
We also have a recent dental graduate joining us. She’s very enthusiastic and is a great addition to our team!
Another change is the addition of a new system called OrthoFi. OrthoFi is an online method of managing the financial aspect of your orthodontic journey. Orthodontic care is different than other types of medical care because it takes place over a drawn-out length of time. It’s common to hit snags during that time, like changing insurance providers, etc. OrthoFi helps eliminate problems that arise in your time with us.
Through OrthoFi, you can check your balance, make payments, and see if your insurance has paid. They have a 1-800 number to assist you directly. It also allows you to go paperless.
This new system is beneficial for everyone—our office, the insurance companies, and, most importantly, our patients!
Self-Ligating: New Option for Braces
I’m very excited to introduce Self-Ligating braces, a new option for braces that we now offer at Pristine Orthodontics! They are an alternative to the traditional brackets-and-bands-style braces. They eliminate the color ties and use small metal door that shuts over the wire.
There are many benefits to TADs. They work more quickly than traditional braces, and usually speed up the process by two or three months. They also require less maintenance, so you would only have to visit our office every eight to twelve weeks. Traditional braces require visits every four to six weeks! With self-ligating braces, kids miss less school, parents miss less work, and you get to avoid traffic in the middle of the day!
I think the benefits make the cost more than worth it. If you’re interested, ask us for more information!
Now you’re up-to-date on all the latest news at Pristine Orthodontics in Plano. We’re excited by this new season and we know you will be too!
